First and foremost it means sharing of myself and my skills. Doing what I can as a person to encourage others to find their joy in life and feel more at-ease in their process of discovery. I currently offer lessons in Culinary Arts, Stone Carving, beginning Mindfulness-Meditation and basic Knife-Making and am available to just talk when someone needs a friend. I firmly believe that we are all connected and none-of-us are by ourselves ever alone. Our strength is in our connection to one-another and all other sentient-beings everywhere. |

Sustaining ourselves is a reality in life! Food is a wonderfuland exciting part of life and just as all things change so our bodies do as well. Healing with Whole Foods is one aspect of what I consider a part of discovery in life and as our bodies change so will our need for different types of food. I offer private cooking lessons for any who are interested. My teaching philosophy is that there are no rights or wrongs in the creative realms. If you would like to learn more about how to prepare your dream-meal, need help in making simple fare for healing, or want to wow your friends with amazing food, then I would be happy to assist you in discovering your potential in the kitchen. |

Sculpture has been a passion of mine for 20-years and teaching others to enjoy the process of stone carving is a joy to me for the past 10-years. Seemingly a very difficulty material to work with, there is a consistency that is wonderfuland ultimately carving stone is not that difficult as there are soft stones like alabaster to learn on. If you are interested in discovering the hidden artist within you please contact me with any questions you may have and if youlike, schedule a carving session. As always, my philosophy towards teaching sculpture is focused on the discovery of joy-in-process. |

A cutting tool is the oldest known tool to mankind, without it life would not be. I began to apprentice over two years ago to Master Metalsmith Tai Goo and although my study as an apprentice has only just begun, I have the ability to teach the basics of making a quality piece of cutlery. My focus is on the forging-process, where the knife-blade is actually forged-to-shape and all finishing is done by hand in the tradition of the blacksmiths that came before me. If you would like to learn to make a knife for the kitchen or for camping or traveling, I would be honored to guide you through the process. Please contact me with any questions you may have or to book some time in the studio to learn the basics. Please visit California Custom Knives to learn more about my work with cutlery. |
