First and foremost it means sharing of myself, and my skills; doing what I can as a person to encourage others to find their joy in life, and feel more at-ease in thier process of discovery. I currently offer lessons in Culinary Arts, Stone Carving, beginning Mindfulness-Meditation and basic Knife-Making, and am available to just talk when someone needs a friend. I firmly believe that we are all connected, and none-of-us are by ourselves ever alone, our strength is in our connection to one-another and all other sientient-beings everywhere. |

Sculpture has been a passion of mine for 20-years, and teaching others to enjoy the process of stone carving is a joy to me for the past 10-years. Seemingly a very difficuly material to work with, there is a consistency that is wonderful, and ultimately, carving stone is not not that difficult as there are soft stones like alabaster to learn on. If you are interested in discovering the hidden artist within you, please contact me wit any questions you may have, or to schedule a carving session. And as always, my philosophy towards teaching sculpture, is focused on the discovery of joy-in-process. |

A cutting tool is the oldest known tool to mankind; without it, life would not be. I bagan to apprentice over two years ago to Master Metalsmith, Tai Goo, and although my apprentiship has only just begun, I have the ability to teach the basics of making a quality piece of cutlery. My focus is on the forging-process, where the knife-blade is actually forged-to-shape, and all finishing is done by hand, in the tradition of the blacksmiths that came before me. If you would like to learn to make a knife for the kitchen, or for camping or traveling, I would be honored to guide you through the process. Please contact me with any questions you may have, or to book some time in the studio to learn the basics. Please visit California Custom Knives to learn more about my work with cutlery. |
